Terms of Service

Welcome to Ansyrs. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Ansyrs iOS application, website, and related services (the "Service"). By completing the agreement step during onboarding, signing in with Apple, or otherwise using Ansyrs, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service

Ansyrs is a consumer information tool that organizes reported restaurant nutrition, ingredient, allergen, and menu information. It provides tools to explore menus, compare food against the dietary preferences and allergies you configure, build custom meals, and keep a private meal journal. Ansyrs is not a medical device and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

No safety guarantees

Restaurant ingredients, preparation methods, and cross-contact conditions can change without notice. Ansyrs organizes reported information as accurately as it can, but does not guarantee that any item is free of allergens, gluten, or other ingredients. Always confirm directly with the restaurant before ordering — especially if you have allergies, celiac disease, or other dietary restrictions.

Your account

Ansyrs uses Sign in with Apple. We do not ask for a password and do not receive your real Apple ID. You may delete your account at Settings → Delete Account, which removes your account record and account-linked data as described in the Privacy Policy. Anonymous catalog reports and requests are not linked to the account and therefore cannot be found through account deletion.

Acceptable use

• Do not use Ansyrs to make medical decisions without consulting a qualified healthcare professional.
• Do not submit catalog reports, correction suggestions, or brand requests that you do not have the right to submit, or that are unlawful, defamatory, or abusive.
• Do not probe, scan, disrupt, or attempt to access the Service or another user's data in an unauthorized way.
• Do not scrape, resell, or redistribute Ansyrs data or content.
• Do not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code except where applicable law expressly permits it.

User-submitted content

When you report item information, suggest a correction, or request a brand or item, you grant Ansyrs a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and display that content to operate and improve the Service. You retain ownership of the content you submit. Catalog reports and requests may be submitted without an account; do not include personal information in an optional free-form note. We may remove or reject a submission.

Intellectual property and third-party brands

Ansyrs, its logo, design, data compilations, and software are protected by intellectual property laws and are owned by Ansyrs or its licensors. Restaurant names, logos, menu items, and trademarks are the property of their respective owners. Ansyrs is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by those restaurants unless explicitly stated.

Service availability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that the data shown is complete or current. Network outages, third-party API failures, and device-level conditions can degrade or prevent use.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ansyrs disclaims all express, implied, and statutory warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. To the same extent, Ansyrs and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update this page and the bundled copy in a subsequent App Store release. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
